"Lock and load!"
- Radagast

Radagast the Brown, a human wizard of advanced age, has always had a deep connection to the natural world. Born far from the bustling cities of the Inner Sea, he grew up in a secluded village nestled deep within a vast, ancient forest. Radagast finds his strength in the wild places of the world, drawing his power from the living essence of the land itself.

Radagast eventually made his way to Otari, a small seaside town that had grown prosperous due to its timber trade. The surrounding woods, rich with ancient trees, were a source of both wealth and conflict. Radagast, who had by then earned the moniker “the Brown” due to his earthy robes and constant companionship of forest creatures, was drawn to the region’s untamed wilderness. Seeing the potential for harmony between the people of Otari and the forest, he decided to make his home in the deepest part of the woods.

Radagast settled in an ancient grove, hidden from the eyes of most townsfolk, where he built a modest dwelling of wood and stone, intertwined with the roots of great trees. There, he lived in harmony with the animals and tended to the forest as its guardian. Birds, foxes, and even wolves became his companions, and they often carried messages for him or assisted in his spells.

Although Radagast prefers solitude, he is not oblivious to the needs of Otari. He understands that the town relies on the timber from the surrounding forest, but he also knows the dangers of over-harvesting. For decades, he has subtly guided the loggers and woodsmen, ensuring that the forest is harvested sustainably and that the natural balance is maintained.

Radagast, has lived on the outskirts of Otari for years, tending to the forest and the animals that inhabit it. His connection to the natural world is profound, and he views the town with a mixture of fondness and concern. When word of the fishery’s troubles reaches him, he suspects that something unnatural may be at play. The delicate balance between the town and the wilderness is threatened, and Radagast feels compelled to investigate, driven by his duty as a guardian of nature.
